What is Microneedling and How does it work?

Micro-Needling is the insertion of very fine short needles into the skin for the purpose of Rejuvenation. 

A battery powered pen with a 12 needle cartridge moving at the speed of 18,000 RPM’s is used in our treatments.

 

Micro-Needling creates micro channels in the skin and is a form of collagen induction therapy.

When those channels are created the skin's own repair response is to start producing collagen and elastin, this is to heal that controlled injury that was just created. That in turn makes our skin tighter and smoother.

What is Nano-needling and How does it work?

Nano-needling uses the same oscillating technique (18,000RPM’s) however the cartridge uses 81 silicon cones which separate the cells within the epidermis to allow active products to be pushed into the skin. 

 

Nano-Needling only affects the epidermis, treating within the upper .15 mm of the skin. The benefits of this serum infusion treatment include pigmentation reduction, increased cell turnover, skin rejuvenation and an immediate glow with no downtime. 

 

This treatment can be done weekly to exfoliate the skin and is a great healing enhancement in between micro-needling sessions.  We also incorporate the use of the nano cartridge into microneedling treatments to support the delicate skin of the infraorbital ridge(delicate skin surrounding the eyes) and enhance exfoliation of the lips.

Results & Expectations:

• May see gradual changes after first treatment. 

• Remember, each treatment builds on the last (is cumulative).

• Results could take up to 4 treatments to be seen if skin conditions are chronic.

• Micro-needling treatments are scheduled every 4-8 weeks for 3-6 consecutive treatments as a base.
