Yoga & Dance Classes
A high energy, fun way to lose weight, strengthen your core and connect to your feminine power! Recommended for beginners and those who are looking to improve their technique. You will learn belly dance postures, working with your internal rhythm, developing isolated muscle movements, techniques and drilling, and combinations. Tribal Fusion and Classical Middle Eastern Cabaret styles are emphasized. Hip scarves, veils and smiles provided.
Buti, in Indian Marathi, means "the cure to something hidden or kept secret." This practice is a high-intensity fusion of yoga, tribal dance, and plyometrics. Classes combine cardio, strength training and flexibility in one seamless format. Buti creates a strong, empowered group that resembles a tribe.Buti® classes utilize spiral structure technique® to facilitate the release + toning of the body - physical, emotional and energetic. Through primal movement, dynamic asana and cardio-sprints, students breakdown the emotional barriers that hold them back from achieving self-love and true human connection.
Masterful and intentional, DEEP is restorative movement sequence that utilizes the Spiral Structure Technique® to connect mind to muscle and catalyze vibrational change on a cellular level. Unlike other Buti® trademarked formats, DEEP is low-impact and focuses on micro-movements with physical touch to connect the brain to innervated muscle and restructure the deep core. DEEP is designed to prevent injury, restore innervation and assist in the recovery of bladder/ uterine prolapse and diastasis recti. The class structure also includes self-massage and pressure point activation to release muscles during deep restorative asanas.
In this soft and juicy class, we move slow and intentionally , building strength and stamina, yet maintaining the focus on restoration and pranayama. All levels welcome.
This is our Buti/Vinyasa class! In our 60 minute lunchtime Flow, we offer a comprehensive and complete practice when you need to breathe and sweat, but still need to be back at work in an hour!
This slow and smooth class is more that just your average gentle yoga practice. We will focus on steady asanas, balance and developing core strength and elongation of certain muscle groups, learning which ones work to keep you head held high as you glide through your daily life.
Proper form helps enhance your carriage strength, with real-life lessons of delicacy and elegance.
Why posture’s so important:
Having good posture is about more than looking good. It helps you to develop strength, flexibility, and balance in your body. These can all lead to less muscle pain and more energy throughout the day. Proper posture also reduces stress on your muscles and ligaments, which can reduce your risk of injury.
Improving your posture also helps you become more aware of your muscles, making it easier to correct your own posture. As you work on your posture and become more aware of your body, you might even notice some imbalances or areas of tightness you weren’t previously aware of.*
Suitable for anyone wishing to extend their existing yoga practice in mind and body, stretch tight and sore muscles lengthen their frame in this exquisite hour we will spend together. Open to all levels, notably for dancers and athletes of all kinds needing some restoration. Props included.
Crystalline Sound Bath
Come experience the power of your breath. Set intentions for your breathing practice Use movement, sound, acupressure, and affirmations to open your breath and integrate limiting beliefs and unresolved emotions.
We will begin each class with some gentle movement and stretching to open up the body and set an intention. We will then breathe for about 30 mins and finish with a closing circle.
All are welcome, no previous experience is necessary. Please wear loose comfortable clothing and bring a water bottle. You may also choose to bring a cozy blanket, and pillow for your comfort.

BUTI® BANDS is a HIIT-based resistance training workout targeted to LIFT + SHAPE your booty, while toning + strengthening the hips. Bands are utilized during high-intensity intervals to challenge the body through all planes of motion while targeting the hips and booty through lateral engagement. During low-intensity intervals, students move through static yoga poses to release the muscle group targeted during the high-intensity interval.
Power up your week with some heat! Fiery Flow is the lovechild of Vinyasa & Buti and the sister of Buti FLow. We'll take the asanas and flows of Vinyasa and set it to the fun and bouncy beats of Buti.
Slow, cool down sequences, deep stretches and lots o laughs are guaranteed to set you up for a productive and successful week! Designed for intermediate and advanced students, however we know how to read the room, nah mean? (psssst, it means if you are not int. or adv., our highly experienced and well-versed instructors know how to modify and assist you.) See you on the mat every Monday from 9-10am

Tribal Fusion Bellydance
Tribal Fusion is a modern Western form of belly dance that was created by fusing American Tribal Style belly dance and American Cabaret belly dance. Artists frequently incorporate elements from Popping, Hip Hop, 'Egyptian' or 'Cabaret' belly dance, as well as movement principles from traditional forms such as Flamenco, Kathak, Odissi, and other folkloric and classical dance styles. for beginners and those who are looking to improve their technique. In our 1 hour hatha vinyasa class , there is a short reading and open discussion from “The Tao of Wu” by Rza where Tara connects the dots of real life, yoga, and hip hop. The asana portion is a Vinyasa Flow practice, set to samples, classic Wu-Tang tracks and our favorite playlist of old and new school hip hop! This musical element is so important , as it provides a more dynamic and interactive piece to the class. Tara aims to bridge the gap between yoga, hip hop, Eastern philosophies and mediation. All levels welcome. Must love hip hop. ;)
